With my prior churches, I have been on 2 mission trips-one service related (Appalachia Service Project) and the other canvassing in Sinaloa, Mexico. This past year, our family has been discussing opportunities to be able to serve on a mission trip. Going on the Clarkston Mission Trip is not only special because I will be able to serve with our church, but also because it is near the community in which I grew up. As Believers, we are here on Earth to serve and be a part of the Great Commission; and in so doing, God often grows us too.
