A team of 21 high school students and volunteers traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah in June. They partnered with Redemption Church, a multi-campus church that is faithfully reaching people in the surrounding Mormon communities. The purpose of this trip was to labor alongside the church by serving in practical ways, building relationships, and engaging in gospel conversations. 

One of the biggest highlights for High School Ministry Associate Abigail Poole was observing the students step out in faith and confidently share the gospel. “Many had never initiated spiritual conversations with strangers and it was incredible to see their boldness and confidence grow throughout the week,” she shared.

The Lord opened doors for conversations throughout their time and softened the hearts of others to hear the truth of the gospel. Please pray for Redemption Church as they continue reaching the lost in their community. Pray for wisdom, endurance, and encouragement for the pastors, staff, and members as they minister in a spiritually challenging context. Finally, pray that the high school students who participated would continue living with the same boldness and love for sharing the gospel as they return home.
