It is our desire that, though our Worship Arts Ministry for kids, children will come to a deeper understanding of Jesus Christ as their Savior and become lifelong worshippers of God. We will do this by equipping kids to use whatever talents, gifts, and skills that they have been given by God as an offering back to God and as an act of worship. In doing so, it is our desire that children will learn to lead others to know and worship God through music and the arts.
WAM (Worship Arts Ministry)
Beginning September 12, each Wednesday during the school year we offer worship arts for children in grades PreK4 – 5th grade. Preschool Choir (WAM Jr.) meets separately, and the K-5th Choirs (WAM) are divided by graded groups.
We meet each Wednesday night from 6:30pm-8pm, after an optional family dinner. WAM activities include choir, musical activities and lessons, creative arts, and periodic arts workshops. In addition, children participate in musical performances such as periodic Sunday morning worship, singing in public locations (nursing homes, etc.), and each spring the children perform a musical.
There is an enrollment charge of $20/child for the year (max $50/family), which contributes to supplies for the year.
