Colson Fellows

The Colson Fellows Program is a nine-month course guiding participants through the intersections of theology, faith, and culture. Students engage in daily devotions related to contemporary cultural issues, complete curated book studies, and interact with faculty and fellow students from across the country on the Colson Fellows Learning Platform.

The program meets on the first Saturday of the month from 9:00am - 12:00pm. The first meeting is August 2, 2025.

Program Overview

Each quarter of the program develops according to a primary focus All course components and activities are designed to explain, develop, and sharpen that focus in the program participants. The topics for each quarter frame the primary elements of the focus and guide the various learning activities of the quarter.

Colson Fellows from across the globe complete a rigorous course of study that begins each. August and in May of the following year. In this nine month program, candidates follow a daily curriculum that is carefully curated and updated each year, read 12-14 books, and attend two live webinars each month with leading Christian thinkers in which they are able to engage in a lively, free-flowing exchange of ideas.

The Colson Fellows Program: $500

Estimated Book Cost: $200

This is a Program for adults that involves monthly interaction and discussion with fellow learners. For the sake of our other participants and the quality of discourse we require that participants be at least 21 years of age as of the August 2nd starting date.

Most graduates of the program say that it takes about 10-12 hours per week, depending largely on your reading speed. Here is an overview:

Reading: average a little over one book plus per month

Daily: Read and comment on the daily 4-minute Breakpoint received by radio, podcast, or email. Complete a devotional Bible study (Monday-Friday).

Monthly: one, sometimes two, one-hour webinars with authors and leaders

Most have found they re-purpose their current devotional time and a portion of their leisure time to accommodate the program. But don’t forget, this is not intended to be a hobby, but a re-engineering of thinking and focus on life, faith and culture. There are no short-cuts to anywhere worth going!
