Growing up in a Catholic church and school, Diana was involved in religion throughout her life, but did not have a personal relationship with Jesus. During her freshman year at college, Diana's roommate became a Christian and got involved with Campus Outreach. As she observed her roommate's new desires to follow and trust in Jesus, Diana became more curious about the gospel. Through studying the Bible, attending church, and being involved in Christian community, Diana understood her own brokenness and surrendered her life to Christ.
