Job Title: Private Music Lessons Educator

Status: Part time (Day and Time based on the number of students and room availability)

Position Summary
The Private Music Lessons Educators would teach one-on-one lessons for musical instruments or voice based on the teacher’s qualifications and the amount of interest from our ECAA families. Instruments would include (but not be limited to) piano, guitar, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, percussion, drum set, violin, cello.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Private instructors will plan one-on-one lessons each week during the fall and spring semesters.
- Private instructors will teach good practice skills.
- Private instructors will help prepare students for their concerts if they are involved in a band, choir, or strings program at their school.
- Private instructors will help prepare students for audition.
- A recital may be held once a year to showcase the students.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A passionate love for the Lord and a desire to serve in the worship ministry.
- Affirm East Cooper Baptist Church’s Statement of Faith and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent.
- Ability to plan and lead private music lessons.
- Proficiency on the instrument(s) or voice part you are hired to teach.
