Jasmin grew up in the Sikh religion under strict cultural expectations as a first-generation American, feeling limited by her family’s traditional values. At The Citadel, she met Jordan and BJ from Campus Outreach whose kindness sparked her curiosity about faith and the concept of sin. A turning point came when a sergeant asked her, “What’s your religion?”—making her realize she was ready to embrace Christ despite the identity shift it required.
