Growing up in a Christian home in Charleston, South Carolina, Moriah Bruner had a strong awareness of sin and punishment but struggled to grasp the concept of grace. Despite praying the sinner’s prayer multiple times, particularly during pivotal moments in her youth, she did not experience everlasting transformation. The turning point came during college when, influenced by professors who exemplified authentic faith and love for God, she began to understand that salvation is not earned through good works but is a gift from God through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice.
